Special Forest
Products:
We derive many specialty products from our forest. We collect huge foot-long
Sugar Pine cones, medium sized Ponderosa Pine cones, small Douglas Fir cones, several
different ferns, two different decorative mosses and many kinds of lovely natural floral greens. We combine them into
many creative items.
We cut decoupage blanks, make bird houses-both decorative and utilitarian, and we create many different
hand-painted signs, in sizes from small to very large. We use several tree species to make our various items, mainly
fir, ponderosa pine, sugar pine, cedar and oak.
